Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Range! I love it! I just bought my range last week and I love it. I came from a glass flat top range. This thing is beautiful to look at and has some really nice features. Things heat up so fast! Plus, having the convection option in the oven is a nice touch. I didn't have that on my previous range. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well built My wife likes the fact that the knobs are heavy and have a good feel. Our first convection oven - still haven't tested it yet. Warming drawer is a nice upgrade. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oven knobs I love my convection stove and oven. The reason for three stars is the knobs on the front of the stove, just above the oven handle. They turn on to easy. Walking pass and lightly touching the knob, will turn it on. Gas will start to leak out. You don't know when the gas is leaking. My husband came home from work and smelled the gas as he entered the house. What if he was smoking when entering the house. Check the knobs often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and even heat Couldn't ask for a better stove! Love the gas burners, they heat pans quickly and provide even heat. My husband oiled the cast iron burner covers so they won't rust, but it left them really oily and whenever I move them it is kinda messy. So if there is a better solution for anti-rust I would recommend that instead. BUT the stove looks great and works perfectly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We liked it so much we got 2! We have had 2 of these ovens now for almost 2 months. We bake a lot of cookies & while it took a little while to get used to the convection temp conversion it does a great job with our cookies. Still have to rotate the cookie trays for even browning. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Serious Design Flaw I installed this range in February 2016 and was very pleased until I used the stovetop and the oven at the same time. The oven vents directly under the burner knobs which makes them extremely hot if the oven is on. I also tend to keep a kitchen towel draped over the oven handle and have burned myself numerous times tucking it in, forgetting that a stainless steel vent is exactly behind the handle. I think this aspect of the range is a really poor design!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ugly Gas Range - DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased this range about a year ago. A few months after owning this range the appearance and shine had worn off. I know this is a cooking device, but I do keep extraordinary care of my things. In the few months of ownership the enamel surface is bubbling by the burners. The finish on the burners, burner covers, and grates are chipping/flaking/discolored/stained. Also, the digital panel is rather touchy and get's extremely hot. The range is very powerful. The parts on the surface are not suitable for the heat this machine produces. It has not held up well with basic use and care. I called customer support and they would not stand behind they're product. They would not even replace the damaged burner covers ($70). Whirlpool/Maytag is in the business of selling powerful appliance. They do not care about their customers or the appearance/longevity of their machines. Please look elsewhere when considering your next appliance. I'll get some use out of my machine, but I will not be sending another nickle their way. Other companies care about their product and customers much more and that's what matters at the end of the day.

Is Your Connection Gas or Electric?

Electric

Available with traditional coil heating elements or ceramic glass cooktops.
Benefits: Cooking elements provide consistent, even heat. Ceramic cooktops are easy to clean.
Requirements: Connect to electric for cooktop, oven, clock and lights. Ceramic cooktops need special cleaners.
Look for: Hot surface indicators for added safety. Convection fan to circulate oven air for shorter baking times.

Gas

Most gas ranges can be connected to a natural gas or propane line.
Benefits: Visible flame provides precise control over a wide range of temperature settings. Burners retain little heat when turned off — so cooking stops almost immediately.
Requirements: Connect to gas line for cooktop and oven and to electric for clock and oven lights.
Look for: Electronic ignition to light burners instantly. Sealed burners for easy cleanup.
